Robert H. Lapsley is the founder of Lapsley & Associates, Inc., a company engaged in mergers and acquisitions specializing in the MLM, Direst Sales and Affiliate Marketing areas of distribution. He also serves as a Manufacture Representative for companies seeking additional channels of distribution.
Born in Chicago Illinois he moved with his parents to the family ranch in Western South Dakota at age five. He graduated from Winner HS and attended South Dakota State Engineering School. Upon graduating from Colorado Technical Institute in Denver Colorado, he began his career with RCA’s Aerospace Division in Van Nuys California.
When RCA exited the aerospace industry Bob’s career path shifted to finance which ultimately took him back to Denver with Commercial Credit Equipment Corp. (“CCEC”) where he met and married Peggy Broders. After serving with CCEC as a New Business Representative and traveling 5 states out of Denver, Bob left CCEC to spend less time on the road and more time with the new family.
He joined a large RCA Distributor as a Territory Manager and was promoted to Branch Manager of the Des Moines, Iowa distributorship where he worked until the sale of RCA to GE. In his final year with RCA he had the number one RCA distributorship in percentage of RCA’s penetration vs. industry.
When RCA sold to GE, Bob and two partners co-founded one of the first 10 privately owned pay telephone companies in the US. He then facilitated a joint venture with Data Services Inc. located in Dallas, Texas. The resulting company was US Operators (“USO”) where he served as CMO. USO was later sold to American Telephone Corp. (“ATC”) traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Bob served as CEO and President of ATC until he facilitated the sale of the Company to a large private company in the mid nineties.
He then founded Lapsley & Associates, Inc. (“L&A”), a Nevada corp. which he still operates today.
Bob also assists his wife, Peggy with her network marketing business with over 5,000 associates in her organization.
